Charley Per Henrik (Carl) Malmsten is born on the 7th of December.

1910–12 

Apprenticed to the master carpenter Pelle Jönsson, Stockholm.

1912–15 

Self-studies within handicrafts and architecture.

1916 

First and second prize for writing desk and chair for Stockholm City Hall.

1916–23 

Furniture for Stockholm City Hall.

1917 

Marries Siv Munthe

1918 

Son Ulf is born.

1919–1922 

Own carpentry workshop at Arbetargatan in Stockholm.
